Allow Us to Introduce Ourselves

Allow Us to Introduce Ourselves

Post written by: Callie

Hello everyone! Welcome to Ramble & Rove!

We're just three girls trying to do cool things and live life and we thought we would share. On this blog you'll find tales of our travels, learn how to do adult-y things, get a behind the scenes scoop of planning a wedding, and then you'll get some random posts that are just RAMBLES (see what I did there??).

We thought we should introduce ourselves for this first post. But when we sat down to write a separate blog each for ourselves it was too difficult. So we turned to the internet for some "getting to know you questions" and each answered them for you. None of us read the others before we submitted our answers so the similarities in answers are genuine!

What’s a pet peeve of yours?

Callie: Slow drivers in the left lane.

Brenna: People who can't pronounce my name correctly.

Kenzie: People that talk through movies/shows/YouTube videos/songs that I'm trying to show them because I love them.

What can’t you live without?

Callie: Chicken Nuggets.

Brenna: Diet Coke and chicken nuggets.

Kenzie: Good music.

What was your major in college?

Callie: Business Management. A lot of good that's done me...

Brenna: Business Management... Not that I'm actually using it or anything.

Kenzie: Marketing at Mays Business School. The thought was that with my marketing degree and Callie's management degree, we'd be in a prime position to start our own business. Turns out, they really just prepared us for corporate America which is precisely what we want to avoid.

What are you doing with your life now?

Callie: Making this blog. Planning other peoples weddings. Planning my own wedding.

Brenna: Commercial Interior Design and Property Management for a construction company in Spring, Texas. Practicing hand lettering, drinking all the Moscow mules and volunteering with Junior League. Oh and being a girlfriend.

Kenzie: Chillin'. Killin'. Trying to have fun while still being responsible. It's a difficult thing to accomplish. Working as a baker at a bakery in Downtown (thanks for nothing, business degree) but they also let me do some social media stuff which is really cool.

If money was no object, what would you do all day?

Callie: Read all the YA books.

Brenna: Flip old houses, drink wine and take naps.

Kenzie: Travel. No doubt.

If you could know the truth to one answer, what would you ask?

Callie: What happened to the people of Roanoke??

Brenna: What is the government NOT telling us?

Kenzie: Are there other life forms out there?

What is your most useless talent?

Callie: All my talents are useless.

Brenna: Remembering numbers.

Kenzie: I can play the opening to Billy Joel's "Piano Man" on a tiny harmonica.

What should be taught in school, before high school graduation, but isn’t?

Callie: TAXES. But all the things we have in our ADLT classes.

Brenna: Taxes... Because who needs to really know about polygons?

Kenzie: Taxes, man.

Now that you know a bit about us, tell us about you! What can't you live without? What would you do all day if you didn't have to worry about money? Let us know what you'd like us to talk about next by emailing thegirls@rambleandrove.co!
