Current Obsessions: Brenna Edition

Written by: Brenna

I hope everyone had a great three day weekend! I learned once again that I am not meant to be a stay at home wife/woman/hardlyanadult on Monday. I have no clue how I’ll manage during Spring Break. It will be nice working out in the morning though! It’s the little things these days.

So anyway for today I thought I would round up a few of my current obsessions and share them with you. It’s all very random and I promise I’ll leave my reasoning short. As always, feel free to reach out for more details. We all know there’s nothing worse than reading something where they give their life story behind why they love something. Short and sweet is key, am I right?

Here we go!

First off, I’ve been taking these gummies at night for about two weeks now and I feel like they keep me asleep throughout the night. Not the best taste, but it get’s my brain to slow down for a while and that’s what I need at night. Poor JT doesn’t wake up to me talking in my sleep anymore.

This might just be a teacher thing but I absolutely love these pens. They write so well and last FOREVER. Unless you write unbelievably hard…

Okay Shelby, a teacher on the first grade team, showed me these and I love them. They are durable and better than a baggie. I use these for math stations but plan to use them for phonics baggies as well. They are easier to close than gallon sized baggies.

This stuff smells absolutely amazing and works just as good, if not better, than any other dry shampoo I’ve tried… Trust me, it’s A LOT. I hate washing my hair and this is such an easy alternative.

Y’ALL. Holy smokes, these puppies are so good. Especially during when that afternoon slump hits. There’s just enough per pouch to fill you up and hellurrr peanut butter is protein so they aren’t completely bad for you.

Holly has these headbands, so naturally I needed them too. I wear at least one of them a few times a week. They don’t stab into your head and I think it’s a good variety for a low price.

Okay I am always on the hunt for new mascara and I think I have found a new cheap favorite. It’s like $4.99 at Ulta and I like it more than “Better Than Sex” by Two Faced and Telescopic by L’Oreal. Both of those rub off onto the top of my eyelids and it’s really annoying. I also use this primer as well and that helps add length!

Y’all. This might be my proudest drug store find yet. It feels just like the Smashbox Photo Finish primer that is $32 at Sephora… It blurs your pores just as well and for $6. I bought this because I was out of my Tarte primer and not close to an Ulta so I thought I would give it a try and so far I really like it.

I’m not one that’s big on sparkling water but this goes GREAT with Tito’s, a splash of cranberry juice and a lime. So light and delicious. Trust me.

Well that’s all I’ve got for now. Of course now that I’ve wrapped this up, I’ll think of more things. Which is how it always happens. So chances are I’ll be back to add more. I want to know what you’re loving right now!
