Alright y’all. Another month come and gone and I’ve got nothing to show for it. But let’s dive in to it anyway!

Started the month off with Ginny (grandma) moving into her new house. When she moved in was the first time that I had seen the house and it’s super cute! Since then Mom and Kenzie have really made it adorable and extra homey. I hope she loves living there. All that’s left is an estate sale at her old house and then to sell it!

Then we had the foundation fixed at our house. And that was an ordeal. But the actual fixing of it was less painful than I expected. The weekend before Jason had prepped the two rooms that they would be sawing holes into by removing all the flooring (so we could save it and put it back) and we moved everything out of the rooms to minimize the dust. The guys showed up at 8 am on Saturday and were gone by 4 pm on Sunday. They tore 6 holes inside the house and I think 10 outside along the front? I don’t know exactly, but it was a lot of holes. Then jacked up the house 4 inches and filled it all back up. The original worrisome cracks that prompted us to call these people were fixed! But now there’s huge cracks all around the crown moulding all throughout the house that we will have to figure out how to fix.

The weekend after that Jason and I worked on putting 1 of the two rooms back together. He did most of the work because he’s great plus he had off work on that Friday. The two rooms that they did work in just so happened to be the two rooms of the house with the paint colors I despised most. So since the flooring was taken out and the baseboards were off we took this opportunity to paint a new color! We finished up the paint, put the floors back in and moved the furniture back so that rooms is all done and I love it so much more now witch the better paint color! Now we just have the bigger front room and then just fixing all the cracks in the rest of the house and we’ll be done!

Then there was of course Thanksgiving. Which was great! Not sure if it was just me because I wasn’t responsible for much but I was not stressed at all this year and it was great! Kenzie too thought that it was not very stressful and she was responsible for way more than me so cheers to Kenzie and Mom for planning ahead and making it a non-stress filled holiday weekend with family!

Oh, then that Friday and Saturday the three Post Grad Losers of this blog finally got to hang out again and that was a lot of fun! We went to antique stores, and watched Frozen 2 and crafted. Thought the crafting didn’t turn out all that great it was a lot of fun just hanging out around the kitchen table like the old days.

Y’all say a prayer for me to get me through December. Work is already hectic (10+ hours a day plus an hour drive and most Saturdays this month) and I’m already worn out. I need help!

And as always, enjoy my random ass pictures from November!

As y’all know if you follow us on Instagram, I started out November bu making some fantastic croissants and I was so super proud. Throughout November, I was outside a lot more than previous months - thank the Lord it’s finally cool out - and I have loved it! Got to hang our with the pups in the great outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed searching for nature’s little treasures.

November was also a month of celebrating! Brad and I have been dating for over a year now and I also turned 25. I have been alive for a quarter of a century and that is just madness. I’m thankful for everything I’ve been able to see, do, and experience and look forward to future adventures!

Mom and I also spent a lot of time at my grandmother’s house decorating and getting it all set up and ready for Thanksgiving which was hosted at her house. It’s finally just about where it needs to be with an absolutely magical greenhouse, her silhouette wall re-hung, and all the home-y touches you can think of. It’s super cozy and super cute and I hope she loves it as much as the old house!

I also went back to the Texas Renaissance Festival this year which is always a fun time! If y’all go, seriously stay for the fireworks - they are always so impressive and leave me feeling full of wonder. At the end of the month, we celebrated Thanksgiving - of course - with the family at my grandma’s house and it was, thankfully, stress-free thanks to planning ahead and lots of prep and help from everyone in the fam. Hope y’all saw our IG stories from the day of for all the behind-the-scenes to put dinner together.

For my 25th birthday, we went to see Frozen 2 and my goodness was it good! I literally cried throughout - like those kind of profound, silent tears that really mean you’re feeling stuff. I don’t know why, I guess Disney still has it. I was super sad to go back to work on Monday, but at the same time, there’s only three weeks until we’re off again for Christmas vacation and I am feeling motivated to get going on projects, the holidays, and all the hectic holiday orders at work. Hello, December!

Once again, I blinked and November was over. I don’t know if I’m just incredibly tired or losing my mind because this month feels like it happened a year ago. Let’s see, I kicked off November by heading to Fort Worth to help Holly move apartments. I needed a little get away and while I was helping carry stuff up the steepest stairs I’ve every climbed, it was just what I needed. I wish I lived closer to Fort Worth so I could see my weird friends more often but for now, I’ll take any little trip I can squeeze in.

The following weekend, I volunteered at the Children’s Festival with Junior League. It was so sweet seeing so many families spending such a beautiful Saturday together. I was stationed in the toddler zone and while that might send some people running for the hills, it only made me want a tiny human even more. Don’t be fooled though, nothing is happening in terms of a tiny human for JT and I any time soon. We are good right where we are.

School was nothing short of entertaining this month and I could go on for hours telling stories about what my kids do and say on a regular basis. Maybe one day I will, but for now just know that my kids are doing amazing and I appreciate every single person who prays over them daily. I’m learning quick that the more love and praise I pour out to them, the easier my day is. They LIVE for compliments. Tiny adults, I tell ya.

Holiday Market was AMAZING and beautiful this year. My job was running change so it was fun to visit with the vendors and see all of the wonderful goodies everyone had to offer. I went shopping the next day with my friend Shelby who I teach with. We had such a blast spending time outside of the school for once! We planned our kids Christmas presents to their parents over lunch at Pappasito’s and she gave me plenty of pointers, like always! FYI, I’m 100% doing a post over this gift because it’s seriously so cute so stay tuned.

As you all know, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year because I can truly eat like the heifer I am on the inside without being judged! I made sure to get a workout in before feasting, of course. #shamelessOTFplug #judgeme Anyway, Thanksgiving was great and I think I made my best batch of mashed potatoes yet. Pop requested a Texas sheet cake so I made that too and probably ate a quarter of it. I just can’t say no to the Pioneer Woman or chocolate. I learned something over this break and that is, I am not meant to be a stay at home wife or one day mom. I am not my best self when I have nothing to do. Seriously. It’s just not for me. I watched plenty of documentaries, one of which intrigued me enough to try and change up my eating a little bit. I’m only two days in so I’m not talking about it until I’ve gone longer and can report if I see changes. So I guess if anything, stay tuned for that?

As you already know, we celebrated Kenzie’s entrance into her midtwenties this weekend so here are some classic pictures of us.

December is going to be great, I can just feel it. I hope y’all enjoyed your November as much as I did!
