The Long Awaited Reveal

Well y’all, I finally finished the dang apartment… For now. Okay, I’m really at a place where I like everything enough to share it with the world and feel somewhat proud about my efforts. I definitely don’t think it’s completely finished yet. Anyway, in a perfect world we would have bought a house right after we got married and I would have gutted and redone the entire thing because I’m too picky to leave things the way they are. Thank you mom and dad for raising me in a construction zone. My friend Chesney lives at the Sanctuary and after seeing her apartment I knew immediately that I didn’t need to look any further. We live on the third floor and have these amazing vaulted ceilings that make our sweet little home feel much larger than it is. Do I hate climbing three flights of stairs every single day? Absolutely, but this is our first home and one day we’ll look back and laugh at me choosing this for the damn ceilings over the number of stairs we have to climb to get home. It is what it is and my calves benefit from it.

My favorite part of our entire apartment! Gallery walls are my absolute favorite.
Drop cloth curtains for the win! I probably spend $25 on the entire set up, including the curtain rod!

On the fence about hanging the TV. See it’s little things that bug me like this.
