Our Favorite Instagram Stories to Watch

Written by Callie, Kenzie, and Brenna

Callie

A lot of my days now are spent switching back and forth between Instagram and Tik Tok. By the time one app gets boring the other one usually has new things for me to watch. I’m partial to Instagram not being a Gen Z-er and all and while I used to love scrolling through the Insta feed these days it’s all about the stories. And who can hold my attention the longest… Here’s a few Instagramers that I’ve been invested in lately and really love keeping up with their stories.

A Clothes Horse

She’s a super sweet girl that lives in Ireland (um LIFE GOALS!). Her vintage fashion and giant dog just add to the great content she posts. Her stories are generally pretty photos and walks through the park she lives in. But she excels at slo mo running through beautiful Ireland scenery videos!

Dani Austin

Dani’s a blogger from Dallas and I almost feel like I know her just from watching her stories. She shares a lot of clothes stuff (which I’m not too into) but she’s also really great at finding cool things on Amazon and being really down to earth and funny!

Heather McMahan

Oh my gosh this girl is hilarious. I mean she’s a comedian so there’s that. She’s back home with her mom and sister for the quarantine and her stories never fail to make me laugh. She also recently got a french bulldog puppy that’s pretty cute and there’s plenty of content about him!

The Little White Farmhouse

I am in love with her house! Lately on her stories she’s been giving tours and showing all the spaces as they finish decorating them and it’s fun to see how she decorates!

Thermaland Oaks

Another house-ish type blog. Her and her husband are building their own home and it’s turning out so cute! She just had a baby and lives on a farm. Which is really why I’m there. I feel like I know her animals and it’s fun to check in on them everyday. Her goats are having babies now so follow for all the adorable baby goat content.

Kenzie

I’ve definitely become much more of a IG story-watcher these days, but still prefer the feeds! I like anything aesthetic, nature, or baking so I’ve got a few accounts I love watching their stories (bonus points that their feeds are great too!).

A Clothes Horse

I’m mentioning her again even though a Callie already did because her life just seems so dreamy!

Emily Blincoe

She’s a photographer living in Nashville and she has three pets that are the cutest and a fantastic boho house. Her stories are typically of the pets, something new she’s trying, finding animals in her backyard (there’s always an abandoned baby opossum or something going on), or philanthropic endeavors and PSAs. Somehow, those don’t even seem annoying coming from her because she’s very down to earth and real.

Cloudy Kitchen

She bakes amazing things in Brooklyn (originally from New Zealand) and she post step-by-step videos in recipes in her stories that are easy-to-follow and make things easier if attempting to make a recipe. I also just really enjoy watching people bake so there’s that too.

Monalogue

She lives in a dang English cottage. What’s not to love??? Lately, her stories have been about improvements to their cottage and gardens (the tulips de blooming!) and taking daily walks with her poofy white dog through beautiful English countryside scenery and architecture. She also share gorgeous images on her feed!

Windy Peak Vintage

Living on a farm in Montana, she shares images and stories from everyday life her outfits are always farm girl chic and everything seems super aesthetic in a dusty way. I hope to someday live on a farm so this just fuels my daydreams.

Brenna

The Little White Farmhouse

I’m going to mention Kaley again because her content is just too good. I love all of her gallery walls and how light and airy her home feels.

Go Clean Co

I recently started following this company and I am OBSESSED. Go Clean Co is a cleaning company out of Canada that shows no mercy when it comes to getting down to the nitty gritty. I’m warning you, if you follow this account you will feel inclined to literally clean every inch of your home. Go ahead and throw away all of your cleaning products because you only need bleach, dawn soap, tide, vinegar and barkeepers friend under your counter.

Brighton Keller

I’ve followed Brighton for a while now and love the energy she brings to her stories. She decorates so well, has the cutest outfits and recently has started doing TikTok dances which I love. She’s a Texas girl but currently lives in Colorado in the cutest home. She’s very open and loves to share just about anything on her stories.

Ashley Longshore

Okay, Ashley is one of the more vulgar accounts I follow but this woman is an incredible artist and does not let anything get in her way. She is self taught and could give two shits what people think… Which I love. She lives in Louisiana and her studio is on Magazine street. Her staff is hilarious and I want to meet them all.

Kirsten Blowers

So Kirsten owns this super cute boutique in Fayetteville, Arkansas called RiffRaff. I LOVE that boutique and I think she is such an awesome role model for a #bossbabe. She has the cutest daughter named, Hattie Bo, and her feed is always full of feel good stuff. They bought a fixer upper and the end results were fantastic. Give her a follow.

That’s all we’ve got for you today! As always, stay safe and wash ya hands. Happy Tuesday!
